Donna Carney, CMA
Donna has many years of experience in office practice with a long time focus in Women’s Health. She is the Senior Medical Assistant in our office and provides clinical support to both of the primary providers, assuring the smooth flow of patient care. Donna’s calm, reassuring manner removes a lot of the anxiety from our patients’ visits.
Julie Coffey, Medical Assistant
Julie joined our office in September, 2007 as our Surgery Scheduler and Receptionist and has since been promoted to Medical Assistant. She has many years of experience working in healthcare and insurance. Because of her own history with infertility and surgery, Julie feels she is especially able to empathize with our patients. Julie works hard to make sure each of our patients has the best possible experience in our practice.
Leslie Stephens, Receptionist
Since June, 2000, patients have encountered a warm, friendly and helpful person in Leslie Stephens. In addition to scheduling patients for visits, procedures and surgeries, she is also the “greeter” on many occasions and patients have frequently mentioned how much her kindness has meant to them. Leslie says she enjoys all aspects of front office work and, away from the office, really enjoys her children and grandchildren!
Cheryl Nicholson, MT, ASCP
Originally from Minnesota, Cheryl grew up around the Great Lakes. She graduated with a BS in Biology from Eastern Kentucky University and earned certification as a Medical Technologist with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, as well as the Medical Laboratory Scientist certification of New Zealand. She has worked in a clinical setting for 35 years in Biochemistry, Blood Bank, Hematology, and as Andrologist for the largest fertility clinic in Illinois. She has experience in embryology and currently assists our Reproductive Embryologist. Outside of the office, she spends time with her rescued Thoroughbred and two dogs. Music is another passion of hers, having studied oboe and most recently cello.
Carolyn Selby, Receptionist/Scheduler
Carolyn joined our staff in May, 2010 as a Receptionist/Scheduler. She has many years of experience working in different areas in healthcare, including a strong background in health insurance. Carolyn and her husband have hosted many exchange students from around the world and are now focused on their grandson. One of her favorite hobbies is running in local races, such as the Triple Crown and the Mini Marathon.
